Residents are quids in today after striking it lucky on the People’s Postcode Lottery. Those with the M28 7GU – Whitewood Road, Walkden – and who are signed up to the lottery have today won £1,000 in the daily prize draws. Prize winning postcodes from May’s draws are announced daily throughout the month.

The People's Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each one having one draw a month. The lottery is hugely popular nationally and supports "a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world".
