Marc was born May 22, 1943 in Gloversville NY and lived most of his life in the Albany NY area. Marc was bigger than life creating many beautiful memories, was always giving when he saw need and through random acts of kindness brought great and unexpected joy to others. Although we miss him terribly, we know that he is finally at peace and now with those who passed before him.

Marc graduated from Gloversville High School in 1961 subsequently attending the University of Tennessee where he graduated in 1965 with a BS in History and Political Science. While there Marc joined Army ROTC and upon graduation was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. serving 2 years from 1966-68, including a 13 month tour in Vietnam where he was promoted to Capt.

and awarded a Bronze Star for Meritorious Achievement. After Vietnam he attended Albany Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 1971. Marc's legal career was as a trial attorney and was extensive in both State service and private practice.

He served as an Albany County Assistant District Attorney, enforcement counsel for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation successfully prosecuting and resolving solutions in the Hudson River PCB case and as a defense attorney in private practice. Marc was a member of the NYS Bar Association, NYS Trial Lawyers Association and the Albany County Bar Association. Marc enjoyed music and song and many will recall his spontaneous renditions and his remarkable voice.
