Andre Portasio is said to have applied for permission to extend the building and turn it into a house three times its size. He is understood to have inherited his and Paul's £3 million home in Kent following the TV favourite's sudden death last year.
Paul has previously been given approval for a groundkeeper's outbuilding, gym and dance studio on the estate. Following Paul's passing, Andre is said to have wanted to turn the outbuilding, referred to as a "security hut", into a separate two-bedroom house. He allegedly applied to the local council for a "change of use" of the building - understood to have an office, kitchen and shower.
It was previously claimed that environmentalists weren't happy with the idea, insisting the plans '"fail to conserve or enrich the special character and unique qualities" of the Kent Downs region. It's now been alleged that locals in the area aren't keen on the plans for the building. Andre is said to have "lost his battle" with neighbours regardi.
