Paramount+ is gearing up for the release of a new drama from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, titled Landman, which is set to hit screens in autumn 2024. The series dives into the contemporary oil industry and features Hollywood heavyweight Billy Bob Thornton as the lead character, Tommy Norris, a crisis manager in West Texas. The show's description states: "Based on the notable 11-part podcast Boomtown from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it's reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
" Landman is tipped to be a hit among fans of Taylor's successful Kevin Costner-led series and his other works like Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness.
