POTTSTOWN — The Pennsylvania Philharmonic, conducted by Michael Butterman, will perform a free community concert on July 11 at 7 p.m. at The Hill School, 860 Beech St.
The program includes excerpts of works by Holst, Copland, Beethoven, and film composer John Williams. The 2024-2025 season’s new music education and wellness program is titled Reach for the Stars and highlights the importance of setting goals, having courage and showing perseverance in our lives through music inspired by space exploration. The Reach for the Stars program is geared towards children in fourth to eighth grades and introduces them to a quality classical music experience performed in schools across the region and shared virtually.
