Outlander: Season 7 part 2 teaser for STARZ drama Outlander ’s Sophie Skelton admitted she was “gutted” when she hadn’t heard back from the time travelling series on portraying Jamie and Claire Fraser’s daughter. Brianna Fraser is one of the major characters in the hit Starz series but she wasn’t actually introduced until the second outing which debuted in 2016. However, the 30-year-old had auditioned for the fiery part even before Outlander started airing and just assumed she had missed out on the role of a lifetime.
Opening up to Harper’s Bazarr as part of its On The Rise segment, Skelton explained: “My very first audition for Brianna was actually in, I think, 2014. And I went and picked up the books and then read as much about Brianna as I could. “I just sort of fell in love with her, I don’t know, she’s just one of those characters that you feel quite protective over all of a sudden and I think she’s funny.
