However, a Facebook post of N Prashant, special secretary to the government in the department of Agricultural Development and Farmers Welfare in Kerala and the former collector of Kozhikode, popularly known as ‘Collector Bro’ who had coordinated with a various agencies for the implementation of a series of welfare programmes. N Prashant remembered Oommen Chandy as a political leader who was distinguished by factors such as compassion, tenderness, affection and a leader who always tried to reach out to the public.
In the post, Prashant was mentioning about his experience at a mass contact programme undertaken by the Chief Minister in Kozhiokde during 2016.
