A North Wales beauty spot has been revealed as one of the UK's best hidden gem locations according to research. Bestcasinosites.net found beautiful places with a very low number of tags on Instagram, suggesting they were rarely visited, and a good place to go, to get away from holiday and bank holiday crowds.
It ranked Llyn Glaslyn, in Eryri - Snowdonia National Park - fifth, according to the research, which said: "In fifth place is Llyn Glaslyn, with 481 Instagram hashtags. Me aning ‘blue lake’ in Wels h, Llyn Glaslyn is located 600m above sea level in Snowdonia National Park and is known for its heart-shaped appearance, but also in folklore for being the lake where Arthur had his sword thrown into. As part of a stunning location, visitors can expect to see breathtaking views.
