Nicki Minaj has cancelled a gig in Amsterdam which was due to take place the day before the newly-rescheduled show at Co-op Live next week. The singer was detained at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on Saturday (May 25) and said she spent around six hours in custody before leaving the Netherlands for the UK. The incident led to her gig at Manchester’s Co-op Live, planned for the same evening, being cancelled at short notice.
Nicki, 41, later announced that her second scheduled gig in Manchester would go ahead as planned at Co-op Live on Thursday night (May 30). Fans turned up in their droves, dressed head to toe in pink and cowboy hats, to see the singer perform in the city. However, Nicki’s representatives have announced that the show at the Ziggo Dome on Sunday (June 2) has now been cancelled.
