Newmarket Nights its returning again this summer for six days of amazing horse racing and live performances in the evening (Image: The Jockey Club Live) A line-up of music icons including JLS and Becky Hill will be heading to Newmarket this summer to entertain crowds after an afternoon of races. Over several Friday evenings throughout the summer, a range of well-known artists will turn the attention from the racecourse to the stage as they provide an evening of music. Newmarket Racecourse, just over the border in Suffolk , is considered to be the headquarters of British horseracing in the UK and also provides a beautiful backdrop for the concerts.

Newmarket Nights takes place every summer, with previous artists including Olly Murs, Anne-Marie and Paloma Faith. Newmarket is only a 20 minute train ride from Cambridge with prices starting from £4.40 .

From Newmarket Railway Station, shuttlebuses are available on Newmarket Nights evenings to take you directly to the racecourse. Otherwise, it is about an hour's walk away.
