Police are looking for three suspects after a 21-year-old man was slashed and stabbed outside of a bowling alley in lower Manhattan early Monday morning. The incident happened around 1:40am Monday outside of The Gutter bowling alley and bar at 77 Essex Street on the Lower East Side, according to the NYPD. The 21-year-old victim was attacked by three men, who slashed him in the neck and stabbed him in the torso.

The victim's condition has since been stabilized as of Monday afternoon, police sources told the New York Post . The NYPD said they are looking for three potential suspects who fled on foot southbound on Essex Street after the attack.

One of the suspects was last seen wearing a white shirt with gray pants, while a second was wearing a black shirt and orange pants, and the third was wearing a blue sweater and dark-colored pants, according to police. No arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon. It is not immediately clear what was the motive of the stabbing, or whether the victim and suspects knew each other.

The stabbing reportedly stemmed from a verbal dispute between the victim and the three men which then escalated into the alleged stabbing, accord.
