Spanning over 100ha, the park has a diverse array of trails catering to riders of all skill levels and offering views across the Chittering valleys and the Bindoon township. Built and designed by renowned trail builders Three Chillies Design, the trail network incorporates the area’s natural features and includes two green cross-country walking and cycling trails, one green downhill trail, two blue downhill trails, one blue cross-country trail and two black downhill trails. The idea Mountain biking was first identified as a possible recreation attraction by the Shire of Chittering in 2012 as a way to offset the economic damage expected to come with the Bindoon Bypass.

A key land parcel in the heart of Bindoon was identified in 2019 and the project quickly gathered momentum from then. The Bindoon Bypass is expected to result in a 40 per cent.
