Jaipur: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Monday that with enactment of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita commencing Monday, the state will accomplish its objective of zero-tolerance approach to crime . Addressing a conference with the home department and high-ranking police officials, he stated, “The new legislation will empower the state’s system to provide, act, and administer justice in a timely fashion.” The conference was attended by senior police officers and CLG members from all 50 districts, along with security personnel, village protectors, and police friends.
The CM directed officials to establish dashboards at each police station to disseminate information about these laws. “The state must undertake extensive promotion of the new criminal codes. I was informed that all police personnel are being trained in phases on the new laws.
Thus far, more than 51,000 police personnel have received training on these new laws , which is a step towards implementing these laws effectively. Moreover, public awareness campaigns are being conducted to provide information to the general public in the most comprehensible terms,” said the CM.
