On July 4, 1924, Reverend Eyers opened the doors at 1200 Flory Ave. in Corcoran under the name of Full Gospel Mission Assembly of God. Through the years the building has undergone changes in structure, changes in the name, changes in pastors, but never changed its purpose of passion.

Over the past 100 years the name has been changed from Full Gospel Mission Assembly of God, to First Assembly of God of Corcoran, to Corcoran Assembly of God, and finally to New Hope Fellowship Assembly of God – Bringing God’s Hope to a Hopeless World. Pastor Lloyd Rippey, who has been pastoring the church for the past 25 years says; “Although there have been building changes, name changes, and pastor changes, the message is still the same..

. Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. Maybe you were brought up in this church, or you first responded to the gospel message in these altars, perhaps you were baptized or married in this church, or a beloved family member held their funeral in this church.

.. whichever of these applies to you, you have a heritage in this church so the congregation is inviting you to come and join in the celebration of 100 years of serving Christ in Corcoran.

” A special service will be held at 10:40 a.m. July 7 with Old Fashioned Worship Service, memories of people and ministries of the past, we will be taking an all-church photograph, and serving a fellowship luncheon for all who attend.

The congregation is looking forward to seeing and hearing the influen.
