Friday, May 31, 2024 China Southern Airlines announced the launch of a new direct flight connecting Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and Budapest, Hungary, starting on June 27. This development is expected to significantly enhance exchanges and cooperation between China and the European nation. With the introduction of the Guangzhou-Budapest route, China Southern Airlines will operate 53 international routes from Guangzhou, including 11 routes to Europe.
