A loved-up couple say they have been branded "freaks" and "white trash" after asking one of their sisters to carry their twin babies. Joseph and Nathan Hughes have been together for 13 years, and decided having a child would be the next major step in their relationship. In need of someone to carry a baby, they turned to Joseph’s sister Breeanna.

The couple’s friend Kortney, who works at their high-end salon in Texas, US, donated eggs while Breeanna agreed to be the “gestational carrier” with sperm from both men used. Breeanna is now preparing to give birth to Joseph and Nathan’s twins. On the Love Don’t Judge podcast, Joseph said: “I have always known that I want children.

I was very clear with Nathan from the time we met that when I was 35 I was bringing babies home.” Nathan was originally unsure about being a father and found himself “freaking out” when Joseph turned 33 and began talking about children. But now says he “can’t imagine” not doing it.

Having agreed on children, the pair decided Breeanna was the one they wanted to carry the babies. Joseph added: “After discussing it we decided that Breeanna being the carrier was the most important thing to us because I knew that if something did happen, I could trust her.” However, it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for the couple, with Joseph’s first embryo not surviving the thawing process during IVF.

Breeanna also miscarried after seven weeks when a second was used. And while the pair are rea.
