He has produced countless fashion shows and events over his 34-year career, including the inaugural inclusive fashion showcase Fashion For All in June.

Up next is his latest brainchild, the fashion and lifestyle campaign My Fashion Wonderland, in support of upcoming local film Wonderland. The merchandise for the campaign is created in collaboration with home-grown brands, such as Photo Phactory and Joannalsm, and will be sold exclusively at Design Orchard from July 18. Boey is also choreographing the second edition of charity fashion show Fashion For Cancer, which will take place on Aug 31 and see more than 20 cancer survivors hitting the runway dressed in designs by local fashion brands.

“Weekend activities are usually centred on my two ‘girls’ – my rescue adopted dogs Leia, a seven-year-old Weimaraner; and Luna, a four-year-old miniature bull terrier. I walk them separately as they have different personalities and preferences. I kick off at 6am with a shower before driving to Marina Bay with Leia, while Luna stays home.

Leia is curious and loves to walk by the water’s edge and keep a lookout for otters. After Leia’s walk, I head home to switch dogs. Luna is not a fan of anything aquatic and is rather antisocial, so she prefers a quiet stroll at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay.

When we get home, I.
