A woman has sought advice after admitting her husband 'refuses to acknowledge' their marriage on social media. The wife took to Reddit to see what other people thought after admitting she was left hurt over the situation. She said her and her husband had been married for years.
However, despite being active on social media, he doesn't ever post anything about her. Writing on the site, she said: "My husband and I have been married for four years, together about eight. It hasn't always gone smoothly, to be expected we got married pretty young.
High school sweethearts or whatever. "Recently I've noticed that he posts about his time in the military, his car, the places he's been to (sometimes)..
. but never even a hint of being married. Maybe he did before.
.. I can't remember.
" The woman continued: "Anyways, this made me frustrated...
and I'm petty. So I made my status on Facebook single to see if he'd notice, and admittedly to get a rise out of him. I should clarify, I'm not really active, so I know people don't really pay attention to my posts, besides my Facebook is strictly for family.
"He pointed it out and refused to like anything I posted afterwards. I told him if he wanted me to not seem single online, then he shouldn't either (I know this sounds childish, bare with me here). It was only up for a day then I [changed] it.
"Today I added that I was married and asked him to do the same. He said: 'No I'm not doing that. I don't want to put that information out for China to fin.
