She advised those on a budget to avoid purchasing drugstore goods if they're not on clearance. "Don’t ever buy anything at a chain drugstore, not on sale," she wrote. "The sales tend to cycle every three weeks.
"If it’s not on sale now, it will be soon." The opposite is true for sales, where she recommends buying multiples. "True BOGO (buy one get one free) sales are few and far between these days, so if a store has one going on that encompasses your brand of setting powder or another product you frequently replenish, STOCK UP," she said.
"Sometimes the prices at grocery stores are cheaper than drug stores - check them out."
