Lauren, from Bridgend in South Wales, was named alongside 24-year-old NHS worker Daniel Duffield from nearby Cannock as the two people found dead in a semi-detached house by paramedics who neighbours said had to ask them for help to enter the property at 12.30pm on Tuesday.
Police were then called, who launched a murder investigation. They have not formally identified the two bodies, but have sent specially-trained officers to support the two young people's families. They have not confirmed whether or not they are looking for anyone else in connection with the double tragedy.
