There are likely many lyrics you mishear on a daily basis, but one mum had an epic fail when listening to Aitch's latest bop 'Famous Girl'. Baby-faced rapper Aitch from Manchester penned the track, saying he wants a woman who isn't 'nameless', saying that he's attracted to their 'status' - but one mum misheard the lyrics and was left furious as her kids were in the car. "Can't believe I heard these lyrics on Radio 1", she raged, saying that she was "surprised" that the song had been played when it had such vulgar lyrics.
But people were quick to point out she'd got the wrong end of the stick. Model wears jeans with sexy detail that's so daring it's 'ridiculous' The mum took to the popular forum Mumsnet to write: "I was listening to Radio 1 with children in the car and I had to turn it off." She then penned the lyrics that she thought she heard.
She shared: "Attracted to your status, maybe your a*** (sounds like a planet)." The woman wondered who the rapper was, saying: "I'm surprised the BBC let it through" - but then people swiftly corrected her. Someone penned: "I don't know this song, but this has got to be one of the best ever examples of misheard lyrics", while another explained that the lyrics are actually "attracted to your status, baby you're A-list" - so nothing to do with bottoms.
A Mumsnetter giggled: "Well THAT's hilarious! You do know that radio versions PARTICULARLY on BBC stations all either swap out a rude word for a clean version or drop the rude word entirel.
