But because the Miss World pageant kept on postponing its 71st edition, she also had to wait for her turn to crown her successor.
The international competition was eventually held in March in India, with Czech beauty Krystyna Pyskova winning the crown. Fourniol qualified for four fast-track challenges—Head-to-Head, Sports, Top Model, and Talent. The Miss World Philippines Organization (MWPH) held the final screening for its applicants on May 27, with the roster of aspirants including those who have already seen action in different national pageants.
Rhiana Agatha Pangindian, who was proclaimed as First Princess in the 2021 pageant, also stage.
