WONSTON Community Café managed to raise £407 for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. The money was raised at the monthly café at the Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney on Wednesday, May 15. Alongside the usual coffee and home-made cake from volunteers, Lucy, a representative from Air Ambulance, was on hand to answer questions, and also had a stock of wristbands and dog leads advertising the charity, which she handed out.
The next Wonston Community Café will take place on Wednesday, June 19th from 9.30am to 12noon. It will be raising funds for Scots Tots, the Sutton Scotney Baby and Toddler group running every Friday in term time 10am-11.
