After torrential rain turned Download Festival into a mudbath earlier this month - those heading to Glastonbury this weekend will be hoping for some sunshine and dry weather. Festival goers will begin heading to the site on Wednesday to set up camp before the three-day music extravaganza kicks off on Friday. Artists playing at this year's festival include Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Cyndi Lauper, The Streets and Avril Lavigne.

Somerset is likely to see highs of 27C on Wednesday before it begins to cool off later in the week, with temperatures up to 21C from Friday though to Sunday. "On Wednesday we’re likely to see hotter temperatures of 25C to 27C in Somerset as the sunny weather continues and although it’s not impossible a heavy shower could develop, it’s more likely to remain dry. "On Thursday as the cold front progresses south-eastwards, it will bring cloudier and slightly breezier conditions through the day and possibly some light rain in the afternoon. "Friday through to Sunday are forecast to be mostly dry, although largely cloudy, and there is still some uncertainty with some showers remaining possible.
