Meghan Markle’s name scrubbed from son Archie’s birth certificate

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a change to their son Archie’s birth certificate before parting ways with the royal family. It’s come to light that The Sussexes quietly removed Meghan’s name from the document, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle scrubbing the Suits actress’s name from Archie ’s birth certificate soon after he was born, reported The Mirror. The Sussexes welcomed Archie, who is now five, into the world on May 6, 2019 .

His full name is Archibald Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. It is believed they named him Archibald after Archibald Campbell, 9th Earl of Argyll, an important figure in Scottish history who was also an ancestor of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana . They registered his birth on May 17.

Yet only a few weeks later, the royal couple amended their details on the birth certificate..
