Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI), a unit of Andrew Tan’s Megaworld Corp., said it is allotting an initial P5 billion to develop a 150-hectare beachside property in Lian, Batangas.

Dubbed Lialto Beach and Golf Estates, the property will be a “sprawling integrated lifestyle community sitting on a highland, with views of the sea and nearby islands.” The development will feature a residential village, an 18-hole golf course, a beach clubhouse featuring an iconic 20-meter tall lighthouse, landscaped gardens and a nearly one-kilometer coastline that includes a beach area. The smallest lot is around P15,000 per month with lump sum. GERI said a major highlight of the development will be the Beach Clubhouse by the shore, which will be exclusive to property owners and their guests.

The company is offering for sale Alto lots, or those lots at high elevation, often with an ocean view; beach lots; golf lots, or those situated alongside the golf course; and primo lots. “Lialto came from the words ‘Lian,’ which is the municipality where the development is located, and ‘Alto,’ which means high altitude or height, a vivid description of how this.
