An Irish designer has had their work thrust into the spotlight after they designed a custom-made dress for break-out star Chappell Roan. Chappell , also known as your favorite artist’s favorite artist, has been taking the pop world by storm, and is easily the hottest ticket in town opposite the likes of Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter. The singer’s latest performance at Kentuckiana Pride was no exception, with Chappell donning an iconic Divine-inspired look featuring a dress custom-made by Dublin designer Oran Aurelio.

Divine was a much beloved American actor, singer and drag queen, known for appearing in John Waters’ films, and is a major part of queer culture and history worldwide. Taking to social media after the show, Oran shared details of the custom crafted piece and how he came to be involved with Chappell’s team. ‘This is an honest to goodness dream and I am so grateful,’ the designer said.
