Meet the globetrotting dogs who've ticked off an impressive 21 European destinations, including a magical visit to Santa in Lapland, snapping pics at the Eiffel Tower , and wandering the historic streets of Tallinn. Their owner, Nikki O Carroll, 33, welcomed the two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels , Coco and Jono, into her life back in December 2019. Since then, she's whisked them away to countries far and wide, from Luxembourg to Andorra and even Liechtenstein.

Nikki and her other half, Robbie Memery, 37, who works as a head of sales, are always on the move with their furry friends, choosing ferries or flights to hop across Europe. For Nikki, leaving her beloved spaniels behind while jet-setting is simply not an option; she'd never dream of dumping them with relatives or in a kennel. Come April 2024, the canine crew grew by one more with the arrival of Gigi, another Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, now part of their international escapades.

Dublin-based teacher Nikki shared: "I love being with the dogs so much, at home we spend every waking minute with them." She added, "If we go to a restaurant, they will come with us." Emphasising the importance of her pets, she said: "Pets are part of the family, I wouldn't leave my kids at home.

They are only here for a short amount of time so I don't want to leave them out." She also mentioned: "People think it is so difficult but it is actually so easy to take your animal on holiday." The trickiest bit, according to Nikki, is "researching.
