Election 2024: Keir Starmer jeered as he talks about dad's toolmaker job The Chase star Mark Labbett was left unimpressed during the General Election leaders debate as Sky News presenter Beth Rigby grilled both Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak in tonight's TV showdown. The quizmaster, otherwise known as The Beast, said he was not happy with the host's style of questioning as he claimed she was "constantly interrupting" both politicians. Taking to X, the 58 year old tweeted: "Wish Beth Rigby would stop interrupting every five seconds #battlefornumberten," before adding he is not a fan of her interview technique.

But his 156,000 followers did not all agree, however, others pointed out a similar problem with both politicians as social media users claimed she was trying to stop them from "waffling". One penned: " Really enjoy her. Trying to stop them waffling.

" Another penned: "I disagree, she’s doing a great job!" A fourth argued: "He just waffles on over the same points over and over again! He wont answer a question." Mark tweeted his observation after Labour leader Sir Keir was put in the hot seat during the Battle For Number 10 debate between Prime Minister Rishi and his opposition. Trending D.
