Marina, one of the celebrity performers at the pageant’s coronation night on Wednesday, May 22, opened the event with a fiery performance of her song “Amafilipina.
” The track is the drag queen’s anthem which is an adaptation of Maymay Entrata’s hit song “Amakabogera.” Marina delivered in a red wave-like dress which she later removed, revealing a sparkling silver fringe dress by Filipino designer Rian Fernandez underneath. Marina was joined by Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michele Dee in some parts of the opening number.
