Touted as India’s first crowdfunded film, Manthan received a standing ovation at the prestigious festival. The film starred none other than the late actor Girish Karnad, late actress Smita Patil, Naseeruddin Shah, Amrish Puri, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Mohan Agashe in lead roles.
