Photo by Postmedia/File Article content Police continue to investigate after a 44-year-old died when the golf cart he was driving left the road and overturned Tuesday near the town of Artoch, near Sharbot Lake. Police were called to the scene just after 6:30 p.m.
, after passerby found a golf cart rolled over in the ditch, with the driver trapped underneath. The vehicle was travelling along Ardoch Road and ended up off the highway, near Canoe Path, in Ardoch. North Frontenac fire service assisted officers to free the driver from the vehicle.
A 44-year-old man, from Apsley, was declared dead at the scene. The highway was closed for approximately three hours. Frontenac OPP, along with Coroners Office of Ontario officers, continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
