Britain's Got Talent fans were treated to some familiar faces on Saturday night, as four illusionists returned to the ITV series after years away. A trio of magicians united on stage in the latest episode, vowing to impress judges Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli , Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon. But a comment they made hinted they had seen them all before.

They were soon joined by a fourth member who also has a history with the show - Aidan McCann. In that moment Amanda and Alesha both realised the initial trio, made up of Colin Cloud, Elizabeth and Ben Hart, had all auditioned in past series of the show individually. Amanda even remembered Elizabeth for a terrifying illusion that left her screaming, with it sparking some backlash at the time given how distressed the judge was on air.

Alesha soon let Bruno know that they were past contestants, as they waited to see what their latest audition would bring. So who are the trio and when were they last on the show?
