She was fiercely strong and a very proud mum," a friend of the woman told 9News. The 34-year-old was studying to be a paramedic. "She was a bubbly beautiful person, heart of gold," her friend Nicolaas Van Der Zee said.
Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson condemned the shooting. "This is just a random act of ultimate violence that has ended a young lady's life, and have terrified a couple of young people who will have to live with this for the rest of their lives," he said. Police allege that Ryan Geoffrey Cole shot Frahm as she sat in her car with the 11-year-old and 12-year-old children, parked at a home on Robb Place in South Mackay on Wednesday afternoon.
Cole then allegedly shot 66-year-old Jimmy McGill, who police said was coming to Frahm's aid after the two children ran for help. READ MOR.
