A MUM has brutally slated shoppers who are buying viral Aldi baby gear and then flogging it on Vinted for four times the price. Furious parent Harriet Wallis, 25, took to TikTok to express her sheer shock after spotting a Vinted advert for a popular Aldi kids' item going for an eye-watering £100. According to the mum-of-two, who urged the popular online marketplace to resolve the issue, she had come across a Vinted seller attempting to flog the popular Aldi Bluey plush chair.
Hitting the stores earlier this year, in April, viral Bluey range quickly became a massive hit amongst shoppers, with toys going for under a tenner. Amongst the items from the Specialbuys collection was the Bluey’s Ice Cream Station, Deluxe Park Playset, as well as Bluey Heeler House to celebrate the beloved Aussie cartoon. But as the exclusive line was there for a limited time - with limited stock too - keen fans soon realised that some Aldi customers were reselling them for a fortune on platforms like Vinted.
The ad which Harriet had spotted on the app was for the viral Bluey plush chair, which the discount retailer was offering for £25 at stores. However, much to the mum's shock, the Vinted seller was asking for an astronomical £100 - or four times the original price - for the same product. This is why they should limit to 1 per customer The ad read: ''I know it costs £25 at Aldi.
If you want, you can it there for that price. ''But you probably won't get it there because it sold out very quickly.
