Shaughna Phillips says Love Island needs to change in order to survive - and says there's a 'creepy' element to the show that she just can't stomach. The series six star wants the programme to progress and says age gap flings aren't what she wants to watch. She says she's still a huge fan on the ITV2 dating show but the beauty thinks there are things that need to be switched up after a big fall in ratings in recent years.
Love Island fans have been switching off in droves and the recent All Stars series was not a ratings winner. Bosses wrote big cheques to get the likes of Georgia Harrison, Liberty Poole, Kaz Kamwi, Chris Taylor, Georgia Steel , Anton Danyluk and Hannah Elizabeth on board but many watching weren't sold. Shaughna says she still tunes in but thinks they need some new ideas to get viewers back.
"I don't want to see a 29-year-old boy cracking on with a 19-year-old girl," she said in an interview with The Sun . "It's creepy. I don't like it and I don't want to watch it.
