beauty Olivia Bowen has confessed she struggled with body confidence after welcoming her first child. The 30-year-old shot to fame after starring in the second series of Love Island in 2016. Heading all the way to the finals with her partner Alex, the pair came a respectable second place after Cara De La Hoyde & Nathan Massey were crowned winners that year.

Although they didn't win the show, Olivia and Alex's relationship continued to blossom and the pair later tied the knot in 2018. The happy couple then welcomed their son Abel in June 2022. But since giving birth, the star admitted to finding things tough.

Despite some of her worries, she still tries her best to put a positive step forward. Talking exclusively to Daily Star, she said: "Body confidence I think is such an up and down thing. I think after Abel I really reallyy struggled.

"I think because I was quite confident in my body beforehand, I think having a baby I just sometimes don't recognise myself. Like me and Alex have had lots of chats about it and I try and tell myself 'I'm so proud of my body'. "But you know we're all human and we struggle from time to time.

I just think the society that I grew up in, like the 2000s it was all about being skinny. "If you look back at some of the shows that were on and things that were said in magazines it was just crazy how they treated women's bodies and I think that's always gonna be in the back of mind.
