Love Island delivered a brutal dumping on Tuesday with Samantha Kenny dumped after Joey Essex chose to rekindle a romance with ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson. Samantha was dumped in a shock twist leaving Joey full of "guilt" after moving on with Grace. ITV viewers were stunned after she was told via text she would have to pack her bags immediately and leave the villa.

Joey and Grace attempted to console Samantha but it was clear the latter was not impressed with either of their platitudes. Body language expert Darren Stanton has revealed Joey and Grace "won't last" after Samantha's exit while adding that the the islander's departure will have a huge impact on those left in the villa. Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie , Darren noted Joey felt "shame and guilt" over Samantha's exit.

He said: "When Joey realises Samantha is single again, his face is one of shock and then he drops his head down. When people drop their head down, and tilt it to the left, that signifies shame. It’s a combination of disbelief, shame and guilt.

"Even though Joey likes to think of himself as a bit of a lad, and a bit of a geezer, he is actually an empath. Empathy is different to sympathy, an empath can take on people’s thoughts and feelings. I think people with empathetic character traits get quite fatigued because they take on other people’s emotions, and I think that’s the reason he felt compelled to speak to Samantha.

Out of all the lads, he was the main person who felt compelled to speak to he.
