Faye Winter has shared her thoughts on the new series 11 of Love Island . The hit ITV2 dating show kicked off on Monday 3 June with 12 new singletons entering the villa in the hope of finding 'The One'. However, in a twist no one saw coming, TOWIE legend Joey Essex entered the villa as a bombshell, leaving the Islanders and viewers at home in utter shock.

Talking all things Love Island, former Islander Faye, 28, who soared to fame on the show back in 2021, admitted she struggled to watch the first episode on ITV X, which many viewers experienced on Monday night as the platform crashed and is typical each year for the launch show due to thousands trying to stream at the same time. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror , Faye said: "I was watching as soon as I could get into ITV X. I was watching it, so about halfway though I joined.

" Talking about ITV X hub crashing, Faye joked: "I'm like: 'Come on, we've got to get better at this!' It was good [the first episode], I thought it was good, it was very different." During the first episode, host Maya Jama revealed a twist as instead of the Islanders or viewers at home picking who the contestants couple up with, their fate was put into the hands of a sneaky game. The Islanders had to organise the girls and boys from most to least on who they think is relationship material.

However, after the game, Maya revealed that the girls would couple up with the boy who is placed in the same position as them on the most-to-least scale. Talking ab.
