THE family of Love Island star Samanatha Kenny has revealed their thoughts on Joey Essex. After being consoled by the girls on the day beds, she broke down - and didn't get much reassurance from Joey. But despite the ups and downs between the couple, Samantha's family are very much rooting for them. They said how they knew that Samantha and Joey would "get on like a house on fire" and that she would "absolutely love him" straight away.
"We're rooting for them! We love him. He's absolutely goregous. Joey is fun, good looking and he's got everything for Sam," Samantha's sister April told The Mirror .
She also said how her dad gets the show "proof watched" before he watches it. April said that Samantha knew who Joey was before entering the show, but added that she wasn't a "TOWIE groupie" and wasn't a massive fan of the show. April said that she watched TOWIE when Joey was on the show and thought he was "brilliant" so they were thrilled when he picked Samantha.
