LOVE Island fans were confused when the cast for the upcoming series was announced - but one usual type of contestant was missing. ITV has been giving out information about the singletons who will be heading into the villa after The Sun exclusively revealed the full line-up yesterday . But regular viewers were taken aback when they saw that there wasn't a single blonde woman OR man present.
Several people took to social media to comment on the distinctive lack of different physical types in this upcoming season of the reality dating show. One person giggled: "Not a single blonde, Love Island you’ve outdone yourselves." Another triumphantly exclaimed: "Wait.
.. there are no blondes this season??? We fcking won!!!" A third joked: "Whoever is responsible for casting this year definitely has a type.
.." However, one Love Island fan was quick to point out this doesn't mean producers are being more racially inclusive.
