Cortez said that her brother's dream is now hers and July 13, Saturday, would be the biggest fight of her career. The 30-year-old has some big plans for the fight against Thug Rose and on how she wants to end it.
Speaking to Indiatoday.in in an exclusive interaction, Cortze said she felt very motivated to be there for the event and aims to win it in a spectacular fashion in the end. "Yeah, you know, being here I’m very, very motivated, to get this win and in a spectacular way," said Cortez.

Cortez (@cortezmma) But Cortez isn't seeing Thug Rose lightly. The 30-year-old said that Namajunas is an experienced fighter but is ready to go the distance if needed with the former champion as she feels she has prepared for this moment. "She's experienced.
She's very experienced, but at the end of the day we're fighting. It's a fight and I believe I've been preparing myself for this moment my entire career, so I'm going in there prepared for a fifth fight if that’s where it has to go," said Cortez. Cortez stepped in to save the main event of UFC Denver, and she has a winning streak going in the company.
