The A1 is closed following a crash in Lincolnshire today (Wednesday, July 3). The southbound carriageway is shut to traffic near the Easton Turn Off and Woolsthorpe. The crash and closure were first reported at around 10.

40am. Traffic heading towards Cambridgeshire is affected as a result of the incident. Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "A1 Great North Road Southbound closed, slow traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved at B6403 (Woolsthorpe / Easton Turn Off).

" A National Highways spokesperson said: "Traffic has been temporarily held on the A1 southbound between B6403 and A151 near Colsterworth due to a collision. Delays of 60 minutes are reported on approach." CambridgeshireLive will bring you further updates as they become available.
