Cian Lynch has become one of the most talked about hurlers since he made the jump from underage to senior hurling with Limerick. He comes from a rich GAA family as the nephew of the legendary Ciarán Carey. Sadly, his uncle Paul was killed in a tragic accident in the United Arab Emirates in November 2020.

He played a central role in the team's All-Ireland Under-21 Championship wins in 2015 and 2017.
The 28 year old was called into the senior set up in 2015 and he has enjoyed incredible success in the Munster and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships as well as the National Hurling League. His efforts have been rewarded on a personal level with three All-Stars. He was also named Hurler of the Year on two occasions, in 2018 and 2021.
Cian was born on January 3, 1996, making him 28 years old. He hails from the village of Patrickswell, outside Limerick city. He plays club hurling with his local parish and they have had great success in the Limerick championship.
