It happened while she was staying at Elton John's house Lily Allen has spoken out about how she once got revenge after a feud with a “beautiful A-lister”. The singer opened up about the incident which happened while she was staying at Elton John ‘s house in France on her Miss Me? podcast. “This was when I was managed by Elton John’s company and I’d been sent to his house in the south of France to like dry out for a couple of weeks,” she said.
“And while I was there I got a phone call from somebody very famous at the time asking me if I could perform at a charity event that they were involved in she was asking me to sing a song with her boyfriend, who was a musician.” She continued: “‘I said, ‘I’d love to but it’s next week and I haven’t got any time to rehearse because I’m in the south of France.’ She was like, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll come out there and we’ll rehearse with you.

And I was like, ‘Ooh, I don’t know about that, I really don’t want to – that’s out of my comfort zone’. And she got the right hump.
” Allen said suggested singing Frank and Nancy Sinatra ‘s ‘Somethin’ Stupid’ instead and that she would go downstairs with the musician and practice the song. Sh.
