Kganyago is on the panel alongside 2023 judge Leandie du Randt and Miss South Africa Organisation CEO Stephanie Weil. Kganyago, Du Randt and Weil's judging panel duties include narrowing down the number of contestants vying to take over the Miss South Africa crown from current titleholder Natasha Joubert. The Miss South Africa organisation has not disclosed the number of contestants the trio will narrow the top 30 contestants down to but said other judges would be announced in the lead-up to this year's crowning.
