Re “ Fort Monroe’s Paradise Ocean Club reopens after 2-year hiatus ” (May 22): We are pleased to see Fort Monroe’s Paradise Ocean Club has reopened. We previously enjoyed this marvelous facility for 10 years before it was unfortunately and unexpectedly closed for two years. The club’s beautiful beach and pool with lifeguards, a tiki bar, rental cabanas, live music and a diverse menu with delicious entrees and cocktails provide for a truly remarkable experience for locals and out-of-towners.
Our area has nothing comparable for people to enjoy during the summer months. Our family, friends and out-of-towners enjoyed a fun-filled, exciting evening at Paradise Ocean Club during its opening weekend. Baxter Simmons, owner, and Scott Canaday, general manager, and their dedicated team went above and beyond to ensure our dinner party had a positive experience.
They always work hard to ensure visitors enjoy their experience at Paradise Ocean Club. We urge locals and out-of-towners to visit Paradise Ocean Club again to see all that it has to offer our community. You will not be disappointed.
