Standard Chartered Bank (Nigeria) Limited’s maiden edition of the Standard Chartered Pop-Up Market for budding entrepreneurs brought together over 45 entrepreneurs across various sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, fashion and design, skincare, hair care, merchandizing, baking, catering and more in Lagos. This is one of the innovative ways the bank continues to drive its community impact and diversity and inclusion strategy in Nigeria. Speaking at the event, Joke Adu, Acting Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing, said: “The event is designed to promote awareness on the bank’s supplier diversity and inclusion strategy for small and women owned businesses and also amplifies the strategic support the bank provides to aspiring entrepreneurs through our various future makers community impact initiative (that focuses on education, employability, and entrepreneurship) including our Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program (AEP) implemented by Fate Foundation.
