The 31-year-old star appeared on the Today show on Tuesday morning to perform a few songs off of her upcoming album Whirlwind but the best moment of all was when she made a young fan's dream come true.
Her superfan Payton - who is an 11-year-old who suffers from cystic fibrosis and even was so inspired by her idol that she started a band- was summoned on stage and embraced by the country star who dropped some incredible news. Lainey said: 'So this is so special to me, you also have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, but tomorrow night I am playing Radio City [Music Hall] and I would love to give you and your family tickets and have y'all there. 'And we'll hang out before the show.
I'll give you the whole ordeal. It's going to be so much fun. So would love to have you there.
