The Kwara Sugar Film Factory is currently producing a documentary on the Ilorin Durbar as a national Cultural Heritage, the state governor, Mallam AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq has disclosed. The governor via his verified X handle (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday informed his followers that he and his family joined in the celebration of the Cultural Heritage which held on the third day of Sallah. AbdulRazaq who also took part in Horse riding at the event wrote: “Today, as we have done over the past few years, my family and I again joined Mai Martaba, the Emir of Ilorin Dr.
Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR) for the annual Ilorin Grand Durbar. “It was an occasion to celebrate our cultural heritage with class, pride, and gratitude to the Almighty Allah.’’ “Like the IEDPU Conference, the Ilorin Durbar has become a national spectacle as it unites our people behind the leadership of Mai Martaba the Emir of Ilorin and projects the unique beauty of our heritage as the southernmost Emirate.
“It is gratifying to mention that our iconic Sugar Film Factory is currently producing a documentary on the Ilorin Durbar as a national cultural heritage.
